Batson v. Florida, 99 So. 3d 626 (Fla. 2d DCA 2012):  Defendant filed a motion for rehearing, which has a 15-day time limitation pursuant to Rule 3.192.  However, because he mailed it via “snail mail”, that added 3 days to his time limit, for a total of 18 days from the date of the order of which he was seeking rehearing.  His motion was filed on the 16th day, and under the “mailbox rule” in Rule 3.070, was timely filed.
